Challenge Cup Honor Code

The Challenge Cup is a tradition built on competition, friendship, integrity, and respect. Every player who participates is expected to uphold the spirit of the event both on and off the course.

By registering for the Challenge Cup, I commit to the following:

I am an amateur golfer.

I confirm that I meet the amateur eligibility requirements of the Challenge Cup and do not currently hold active or pending professional golf status.

I will compete with integrity.

I will play by the rules, accurately represent my score and the outcome of my matches, and conduct myself honorably even when no one else is watching.

I will not consume alcohol at the golf course or during tournament play.

I understand that alcohol is not permitted during any round associated with the Challenge Cup, including the practice round and tournament rounds.

I will not gamble on the Challenge Cup.

I will not place, accept, or participate in wagers involving matches, teams, individual players, or tournament results.

I will demonstrate good sportsmanship.

I will treat fellow players, opponents, captains, golf course staff, volunteers, and guests with respect. I will compete hard, win with humility, lose with grace, and remember that how I conduct myself matters more than the outcome of any match.

I will respect the event.

I understand that participation in the Challenge Cup is by invitation. I will conduct myself in a way that honors the tournament, its traditions, the golf course, and the people who have made the event possible.
